About Mohammad Qasim
About the Author
Dr. Mohammad Qasim was born into a small farmer family near Khanewal, Punjab (Pakistan). After completing the high school at Government Model High School Vehari, he moved to Houston, Texas in the United States where he received his Bachelor in Political Science and Economics. He later earned two Master degrees and a Doctor of Philosophy in Urban Planning from Texas Southern University. He has worked as schoolteacher, manager, planning director and has an extensive global experience
From the childhood, he had a dream of resolving the question of poverty, injustice, and inequality. During his long global expedition of visiting and observing several cultures, it became evident upon him that ordinary measures often being proposed by pacifist scholars and politicians are not the permanent solution of global oppression and exploitation of the commons. The book is written under the same pretense and provides solutions of global inequality. Book proposes a novel theory of governance and is ought to become one of the greatest theory of our times.
He is currently working as a Professor and President of American Islamic University at Houston, Texas (USA). While previously he was Chair and Professor at the Department of Environmental Management and Policy at the Baluchistan University of Information Technology, Engineering and Management Sciences, Quetta, Pakistan. He has served as President of American Planning Institute at Houston, Texas. He conducts Success and motivational seminars and also had taught courses in planning, governance, and urban related subjects. Dr. Qasim currently had taught at Rockland Community Development Council, Monsey, New York, and as Associate Professor at the Centre for Public Policy and Governance at Forman Christian College- University, Lahore, Pakistan as well as at several other prestigious global institutions.
